Artistic Direction Price - Headphones for Tinnitus

The brief

During a collaboration between CELSA, a communication school, and my school ECV, a one-week competition was set up to correlate our disciplines.

The brief was short: one week to create a brand selling a product or a service combining innovation, autonomy and responding to a major health concern.

Then, to create a brand image, set up a communication strategy and deploy its identity on the chosen media.

Our answer

We have created a brand of headphones for tinnitus sufferers. Based on the innovation of an audiogram to measure the type of tinnitus that people suffer from, the headphones can be used in a normal way, to listen to music but also to listen to sounds that relieve or suppress the tinnitus, just by activating a small button on the product.
From this idea, a whole communication follows, wanting to place itself on a market between the medical and the musical, while having a very modern and pointed identity in order to leave the codes of the hearing aids and to approach the helmets in vogue currently.

Several media were then developed, communication videos broadcasting sounds heard by tinnitus, display in strategic places such as transport and more broadly, a website, an application, packaging ...

We then created a graphic language, illustrating the different types of tinnitus, as well as a spherical shape that multiplies, in order to transcribe the shape of our products, and the sound waves.

‍

“Hubud is a brand at the forefront of innovation for tinnitus sufferers, but its image does not give sufferers the impression that they are burdened with a medical product, or that they are different from other daily music consumers.”

The reward

We won the award for art direction, and were praised for the strength of the graphic proposal, for the time frame.
